The leader of the political party UDAR (Ukrainian Democratic Alliance for Reforms), Vitaly Klitchko, has stated that “now a big information war is going on”. “They artificially say that someone is disseminating nationalism, someone is forbidding speech in some language, and that those who stood on the Maidan are radicals and separatists. Do I look like a radical, a nationalist? I take responsibility for every one of my word,” Klitchko stated in Donetsk, where he held a press conference on March 9. Before the conference, he laid flowers at the monument of Shevchenko in honour of the 200th anniversary since the poet’s birth.
