In Donetsk an intelligence officer from the Main Russian Intelligence Administration was arrested, Radio Svoboda reports, with a reference to the facebook page of Arsena Avakova, the Minister of Domestic Affairs.
In the evening, in Donetsk, the police and security services arrested a Russian Intelligence officer under circumstances that compromise this special service – he stated.
According to Avakova, he doesn't know whether he will give detailed information about it to the Security Service of Ukraine.
For the last weeks in Donetsk the representatives of the separatist forces have been actively working. They tried several times to seize the building of the Regional Administration. Last week the police arrested the self-declared pro-Russian governor of Donetsk region Pavel Gubarev. During the press conference held by Sergey Taruta, the head of the Donetsk regional administration, he stated that at this moment he cannot reveal operational information about this fact. “I cannot tell you about operational information. I think, after lunch, you will be able to get more detailed information. We are working in such a way that you will get informed immediately”, he said.
