Mikhail Morozov resigned from the post of chairman of State Service of Export Control of Ukraine as affirmed by the Decree of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine as of June 23 according to the official website of the Cabinet.
M. Morozov, born in 1954, prior to his appointment to the post in the State Service of Export Control of Ukraine, held the post of chairman of VABank (Kiev) since October 2004. Earlier in 2001-2004 he was the chairman of specialized foreign trade company “Progress” – the subsidiary of the State Company “UkrSpetsExport” and then held the position of First Deputy Director of the Company; in 1999-2001 he was the Head of a Trading House of the First Ukrainian International Bank (FUIB); in 1996-1999 he was the Head of the office of Kiev branch of FUIB (Donetsk), later – the Head of the Credit Department of FUIB and the board member of the Bank; in 1992-1996 he was the Head of the international Department of Brokbiznesbank (Kiev).
On 20 March 2006 M. Morozov was appointed the Head of the State Service of Export Control of Ukraine; prior to this he held the post of the First Deputy Director of the Director General of the State Company for Export and Import of Military and Special Products and Services (UkrSpetsExport), writes Interfax-Ukraine.
