Main news of Donbas: Medicine and gas will be brought from Russia to the occupied territory

During June24, no Ukrainian serviceman was injured in the ATO zone. Andriy Lysenko, ATO spokesman of the Presidential  Administration presented the information at the everyday briefing.
Residents of the territories temporary not controlled by Ukraine are experiencing shortage of medicine. Olena Petrova, Chief of the healthcare department of Donetsk regional state administration claimed that at a press conference in Kyiv today. “Untimely insulin injection may result in a person’s death within minutes”, said she. “Without chemical therapy, people with cancer will suffer for a long time and die. There are no TB or AIDS check points. Absence of medicine will contribute to spreading the epidemics of TB and AIDS on the uncontrolled territory, and then on the territory of the other parts of Ukraine.

Hundreds of cars are lining in queues for several hours in both directions of Mariupol- Donetsk. It is caused by new rules for crossing the demarcation line in the ATO zone.

Oleksandr Zakharchenko, illegal “DPR” organization leader claims that the occupied cities of the Donetsk region will start getting gas at the end of the week. He said that, frankly speaking, the fighting was tough. There is no fuel at all, but in 3-4 days fuel supply will saturate the market. The piece for AI-92 gas will be 17.95 UAN. And, in the near future, there will be competition on the fuel market. To remind: there is severe fuel shortage in occupied Donetsk and gas, oil and lubricants are overpriced. According to Zakharchenko’s words medicines from Russian are to be supplied to the occupied territory in the near future. Currently there is shortage of medicines and food. Food is supplied mostly from Russia and it is more expensive, though the quality is worse, than that of Ukrainian food.

“Road of Life” social shop which belonged to The Opposition Block people’s deputy Natalya Korolevska stopped working in Slovyansk after the election. The sign above it was taken off. Now it sells goods at usual prices. Mykhailo Nechyporenko, a local activist says “The shop was a pre-election trick to attract electors. It is a usual thing to give people free buckwheat and other food and thus make them vote for the necessary candidate. Korolevska had promised a lot to people here, but we can see that there is no result.” Before the election and for some time after it the shop sold food at prices which were 20-30% lower that market ones, at least, such prices can be found on the “Road of life” site.
