Occupied Horlivka was shelled again. The shelling started in the evening, July 30 and lasted till the morning, July 31.
“The shelling from Mayorsk started at 10 pm and lasted till morning. Settlements of Mayskiy and NyzhniyKhutor were shelled. 27 transformer substations are without electricity; a gas pipeline was broken; three houses were hit directly”, said the head of the occupational city administration. Two houses are destroyed, 9 – without gas supply.
The Ukrainian Ministry of Justice closes power of attorney registers for notaries working on the occupied territory. The Decree is placed on the site of the Ministry. It stipulates that any power of attorney, including the one required for taking a child from the occupied territory should be issued on the territory controlled by Ukraine
Ex-head of the police of the Donetsk region Roman Romanov who supported separatists in the Donbas in March 2014 is living in Kyiv and is quite comfortable there.
When the ATO is over, there will appear a sculpture of Mircea Lucescu in the “Donbas Arena” Park in Donetsk, as it is informed by the FC “Shakhtar” press service.
“The decision about installing the composition was taken on July 29 and was meant to coincide with the anniversary of the main coach of FC “Shakhtar”. The sculpture in miniature was presented on Mircea Lucescu’s birthday. The full-size version is to appear in the “Donbas Arena” Park after FC “Shakhtar” comes back to Donetsk”, the report states.
Press service of Donetsk Regional State Administration informs with reference to Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk, that on July 30, Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine decided to give a 50% pay rise to state workers of the Donetsk region. “At the suggestion of Pavlo Zhebrivsky, Head of Donetsk Regional State Administration, we decided to give a 50% pay rise to all civil servants and state workers of the Donetsk region.”
Representatives on an NGO “Initiative group “Together” said during their briefing on July 31 that on the list of the houses which must be restored there are five objects which have not been damaged as badly as it is stated in the documents of the utility service workers. The general budget for restoration works is about 2.3 mln. UAH.
Oleksandr Dmytryiv, Director of Building and Utilities Infrastructure Department, said during his meeting with journalists on July 31 that Mariupol civil servants deny all accusations of corruption and hope that law enforcement bodies will investigate the case.
