The situation in the ATO zone remains tense. During the last day, militants shelled Ukrainian Armed Forces' positions 71 times, according to the ATO Headquarters press center. No militaries perished and no militaries were wounded in the ATO zone on February 14.
However, on February 15, “DPR” grouping militants shelled Ukrainian Armed Forses' strongholds in Shyrokyne, Talakivka, Novotroyitske, and Hnutove 33 times. There are victims among servicemen; the number of them is being clarified. “DPR” militants tried to break through near Hnutove at 11:30 though the attempt was repelled, as Oleksandr Kingsfater, spokesperson of Sector “Mariupol", informs. The militants covered their retreat with shelling from 82-mm-calibre mortars. Militants shelled from anti-tank installations, anti-aircraft guns, launchers, large-calibre machine guns and small arms. They used 82-mm artillery 10 times.
Viktor Mykolyuk, 92nd Mechanized Brigade Commander is going to sue the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Anti-Terrorist Operation. The information was published in joint pre-trial register of court verdicts. Mykolyuk wants to get compensation for pain and suffering which he endured from one of the investigators of the ATO prosecutor's office. He also wants to recognize illegal the decision to search the regiment V6250. The sum of compensation is 1 hryvhya. The court is to start a criminal proceeding as for the compensation.
The commission on decommunization issues voted for renaming two streets in Slovyansk. Now they are to be named 95th Airborne Brigade street and 5th July street. 95th Separate Airborne Brigade was an active member of the battles in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
Yevhen Shybalov, volunteer of “Responsible Citizens”, informed on his page on Facebook, that Olha Kosse, another volunteer, was “deported” from Donetsk on February 15. The reasons were not explained to her and she was denied the right to come back. As it had been reported earlier, Maryna Cherenkova, one of the heads of the group, was detained on January 30 and has been under arrest since then. Later, volunteers Yevhan and Dmytro Shybalov, Olha Kosse and Enrique Menedez were summoned to the so-called “Ministry of state secutiry” for interrogation. The Shybalov brothers and Menedez were ousted from the occupied territory after the interrogation.
