Two servicemen of “Azov” regiment were wounded in a land mine blast

Two servicemen of “Azov” regiment got wounded in a land mine blast. They were hospitalized with fragment and mine-blast wounds. Both are alive but their condition is critical.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported finding one more ammunition cache in the ATO zone

Officers of the Security Service of Ukraine together with the police discovered an ammunition cache in the village of Pokrovske (Artemivsk district). The cache was placed in an abandoned barn outside the village and contained anti-tank and land mines and camouflaged tools for making “wiretraps” (wires, flame rocket shells, fuzes). 


The queues at checkpoints consisted of nearly 1000 cars

985 cars were waiting in the queue to get into or out of the ATO zone today in the morning. The State Border Service of Ukraine reported that the situation at the entry-exit checkpoints remained dynamic.

Commemorative candles for Holodomor victims were lit in the Donetsk region

Today commemorative ceremonies for Holodomor victims took place in the Donetsk region towns. Activists, town authorites and residents gathered near Shevchenko monument in Kramatorsk for a civil ceremony to commemorate those who died in 1932-1933. At the end of the ceremony they made a symbolic commemorative candle out of small lights. 

Local election took place in Mariupol and Krasnoarmiysk

Polling stations opened in Mariupol and Krasnoarmiysk at 8.00 a.m. on November 29. After they were closed at 8 p.m. the exit poll results were announced. According to them, Vadym Boychenko became the mayor of Mariupol and “Opposition Block” and “People's Power” got into the town council.

Five lorries smuggling goods were stopped in the ATO zone

5 vehicles were stopped in the ATO zone in the last 24 hours by border guards and patrol units. In particular, a truck carrying 850 kilos of fish which was worth ten thousand UAH. Three more lorries were stopped by a mobile patrol in the vicinity of Hnutove and Berezove. They were carrying nearly two tons of meat which were worth seventy thousand UAH.
