At night militants were shelling Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Shyrokyne for half an hour

From 6 p.m. on Friday, December 4, to 5 a.m. on Saturday, December 5, militants violated ceasefire along the demarcation line and in the ATO zone eleven times. At 8.20 p.m., militats were providing accurate fire upon Ukrainian positions in the vicinity of Shyrokyne.

2 mln UAH worth of tobacco was confiscated in Mariupol during 24 hours

Law enforcement bodies discovered more than 200 boxes with cigarettes, which were worth more than 2 mln UAH on December 4. 77 boxes with tobacco without excise labels were  found while searching a house of a local resident. 159 boxes more were found in another woman's garage. Besides, she also kept at home $22 thousand, about 300 thousand rubles, more than 500 UAH and reporting documentation about selling cigarettes, the so-called off-the-book financial scheme.  


Militants fired at OSCE monitors in the Luhansk region

OSCE Special Monitoring Mission reports that its monitors were shelled in the vicinity of the village of Yuryevka (the Luhansk region), which is controlled by the “LPR”. This happened after the monitors documented militants' heavy weapons.

Militants shelled Ukrainian positions in Novohrodske

Militants shelled Ukrainian positions using 82 mm mortars which are banned by the Minsk accords. They also opened fire in Zalizna Balka direction.
