Demining works continue in Mariupol

On Wednesday, December 16, demining works in Mariupol continued. Ammunition found in the neighbourhood  was being exploded from 9 to 12 a.m.

Queues at ATO zone checkpoints have become longer

Number of passengers and vehicles at ATO zone entrance-exit checkpoints has increased in the last 24 hours. About 1000 people and 300 cars have already gone through recently-opened “Maryinka” checkpoint. 

3 persons including a child died in fire in Volnovakha

A residential house in Donetska street in Volnovakha  caught fire on December 16. While putting the fire out, the brigade discovered bodies of two women and one 13-year-old child. At 6.25 a.m. a body of a woman (born in 1977) who was sitting on the sofa was discovered. At 7.15 a.m. a body of a boy was discovered and at 9.15 a.m. a body of a woman (born in 1959) was discovered. All three were dead. The reason of the fire in currently unknown. 


Local election in Artemivsk district can take place in the spring 2016

Local election in Artemivsk district joint communities can take place in the spring 2016. Before this, Pavlo Zhebrivsky, head of Donetsk regional military and civil administration, calls on the district authorities to prepare for territorial communities creation, according to the prospective plan of the state.

A judge was arrested for a bribe in Siverodonetsk

A judge of Siverodonetsk Town Court was detained while getting a bribe of $4000. A civil servant was extorting money for releasing a person and getting property back after an arrest. The judge was an intermediary in the bargain.

Trams circulation to be suspended in Kramatorsk


On December 18, all trams are to stop circulation in Kramatorsk due to road works for a new tram line in Old Town. The preliminary date for finishing works is December 25.
