A woman perished in fire in Slovyansk
On December 20, at 7:12, Slovyansk Emergency Service “101” got information about a fire in a private house, in Mayakovskoho Street. Rescuers and a fire brigade immediately went to the place. When they were extinguishing the fire and dismantling the constructions, at 9:08, they found a dead woman on the floor in the toilet. The fire was put out at 9:09
Two “LPR” militants were convicted in Luhansk region
Two more members of the illegal armed faction were convicted in the Luhansk region. It was proved that in spring and summer 2014, these residents of Luhansk as militants of the illegal armed formation served at checkpoints, in particular, near “Lysychansk Glass Factory “Proletariy”, Ltd. The Red Cross has started handing out food vouchers in Artemivsk
Starting from December 21, 2015, the Red Cross will give IDPs 200 UAH vouchers to buy food in a supermarket. The vouchers will be given to people of the following categories: families with many children (children up to 16 years old), disabled people of groups 1 and 2 (up to 70 years old), single breadwinners with children up to 16-year-old, seniors older than 70.
Police are going to close clubs which will work after midnight in Mariupol
The Donetsk region police initiate closing entertainment enterprises in Mariupol if they violate the local administration and ATO decision to limit their work till midnight. The regional department of the National Police explains that it is a necessary anti-sabotage measure. Its non-fulfillment caused two grave crimes in a club which was working later than the allowed time.
The number of IDPs in Kramatorsk is expected to increase by 50 %
The number of IDPs from the ATO zone in Kramatorsk is expected to increase by 50 % in 2016 and will amount to 100 thousand people, those who have been registered and given the IDP’s certificate. In mid-December, the number of IDPs in Kramatorsk amounted to 63937 people.
A suit against the Head of Public Council was filed in Mariupol
Members of the Public Council at Mariupol city executive committee Dmytro Zabavin, Kostyantyn Kartsev, and Alla Sotnyk have filed a law suit against Lydiya Mugli, the Council Chairperson. The plaintiffs are members of the party “Molod do Vlady” (“Youth to Power”). They think they were excluded from the Council illegally. It happened because they had missed several meetings.
