Maryinka resident was wounded. The police think a militants' sniper was shooting 

Maryinka (the Donetsk region) resident was wounded in the chest near his house when he was coming back from a shop on December 22. The man was taken to hospital in Kurakhove. It has been preliminarily estimated that the man became a victim of a sniper. 

An Administrative Services Centre to be opened in Mariupol


The Ministry of Justice is forecasting opening of an Administrative Services Centre in Mariupol. Pavlo Petrenko, Minister of Justice, noted that such centres are successfully operating in Vinnytsya, Kharkiv and Odesa after the registration authority was shifted from the Ministry of Justice to local self-governing authoritites. The next Administrative Services Centre is to be “Gotovo” (“Ready”) in the Kyiv region. Similar centres are to be opened in Lviv and Ternopil as well. 

The Luhansk region authorities accuse militants of shelling Popasna using MRLS “Grad”


In the morning of December 23, the illegal armed formations shelled the town of Popasna using MRLS “Grad”. The militants fired from the direction of the occupied village of Kalynove. The rockets fell in the vicinity of Parusovka street. There has not been any information about casualties or distructions so far. Andriy Lysenko, spokesman for the Administration of the President on ATO-related issues, also reported Popasna shelling.

Kramatorsk territorial community declared illegal by court


On December 22, Kramatorsk Town Court made a verdict to declare the creation of Kramatorsk joint territorial community illegal. The creation of the community was supported by all towm council deputies on June 22, 2015. Oleksandr Oleksiiv, whose activity may be connected with the illegal “DPR” formation, was the plaintiff in the case. It had been planned that Kramatorsk territorial community would unite the settlements of Bilenke, Vasyliivka, Krasnotorka, Malotaranivka, Kamyshevakha, Pryvilllya, Shabelkivka, Oleksandrivka, Sofiivka, Yasna Polyana and Dymytrivka (Slovyansk district).

A grenade cache was discovered in the vicinity of Velyka Novosilka


Law enforcers discovered a grenade cache on the outskirts of Velyka Novosilka. The cache, which was hidden among stone constructions, contained 3 ball grenades and more than 800 cartridges with a caliber of 5.45 mm. 2 RGD-5 grenades, 1 anti-tank RPG-18 grenade and 28 crates with cartridges of a 5.45 mm caliber were also discovered among abandoned constructions. Law enforcers are trying to identify the ammunition owner.
