Meals for schoolchildren will cost 10 Hryvnyas a day in Kramatorsk

Lunches for Kramatorsk schoolchildren will be provided by “Kramatorsk Children Food Plant” company which won the tender of 12.81 mln UAH. During 2016, pupils of 1st-4th grades of comprehensive schools, privileged pupils, and those in school camps will have lunches 1,247,550 times. Thus, the price of a day lunch for one pupil will be 10.26 Hryvnyas a day.

Ministry of Energy has partially repaid wage arrears to miners of the Luhansk region.

During the week, miners of the Luhansk region have been repaid wage arrears. On December 15, the Ministry still owes 126 mln Hryvnyas to the miners of “Lysychanskugol” company and state enterprise “Pervomayskugol” which are working on the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Ukrainian TV channels will resume working in Avdiivka

TV retransmission stations will be installed to broadcast Ukrainian TV channels in frontline Avdiivka. Citizens of the old part of the town who have no satellite antenna have not been able to watch Ukrainian channels for a year. They have been able to see only programmes from occupied Donetsk with their home antennas.

In 2016, three TV towers will be erected to broadcast Ukrainian TV in the ATO zone

The report on restoring broadcast in the ATO zone was presented in Severodonetsk, the Luhansk region, on December 24. The report says that in 2016 three TV towers to broadcast Ukrainian TV will be erected in the ATO zone.

McDonald’s is not going to come back to Mariupol

Fast food restaurant McDonald’s does not plan to come back to Mariupol, the Donetsk region. McDonald’s left Mariupol in the spring of 2014 due to hostilities. It was expected that the closure was temporary. As it was informed by the trade mark press centre, the restaurant in Mariupol has not been included in the database of the company for a long time and it is not going to resume its work in the city in the near future.
