Three TV towers are going to be erected in 2016. They will make it possible for Ukrainian broadcasters to cover more territories in the ATO zone. The information was presented by Oleksandr Bryhynets, Minister adviser on TV and radio broadcatsing. Local transmitters will be installed in the areas where the signal is weak.

The flu and ARVI epidemic threshold has been exceeded in the Donetsk and Rivne regions. 10 more regions are under threat and are close to this level. The information was presented by the Ministry of Healthcare today, January 19. The total indicator of flu and ARVI cases among the population of Ukraine has increased by 72.2% compared to the previous week and is 54.7 cases per 10 thousand people. News from the occupied territory

Residents of occupied Donetsk complain of lack of medicines and exorbitant prices for the ones which can be found in local chemists'. For example, the average price of “Cycloferon” or “Amixin” is about 1000 rubles (400-500 hryvnyas). As a rule, the price depends on the manufacturer of the drug. There are not many cold medicines left in chemists', the majority of remedies have been brought from Russia and they are cheaper. The prices for Russian medications correspond to those in the Russian Federation itself.

The number of confirmed cases of flu in occupied Donetsk, Makiivka and Yenakieve is increasing daily and the disease has already reached the epidemic threshold. The number of confirmed flu cases is also high in Dokuchaivsk, Snizhne, Zhdanivka, Shakhtarsk, Kyrovske and in Amvrosiivka, Sterobesheve and Novoazovsk districts.

Yuriy Klymenko, deputy head of the Luhansk regional military and civil administration, reports that “LPR” militants do not let open the first automobile checkpoint Lysychansk-Hirske-Zolote-Pervomaysk-Stakhanov in the Luhansk region.

“The way is closed on the “LPR” side. We are ready to open it but terrorists do not let people and vehicles that want to use this corridor do it”, emphasized Klymenko.
