Main news of Donbas: Non-stop shellings; A civilian wounded; A volunteer released from captivity

Reports from the front

There were 44 attacks on ATO positions in the Donbas in the last 24 hours, as it is informed by the ATO Headquarters press centre.

Andriy Lysenko, Presidential Administration spokesperson on ATO related issues, reported that 2 Ukrainian servicemen were wounded in action and 11 more as a result of explosives mishandling in the Donbas in the last 24 hours.

Press service of Kostyantynivka town council reports that one civilian was wounded in a mine explosion and hospitalised to the traumatology department during the period of February 19-21.

According to the information of ATO press service, Maryinka entratce-exit checkpoint resumed its work in the usual mode on February 22.

Deputies of Siverodonetsk (the Luhansk region) faction of Petro Poroshenko Block “Solidarity” refused to take part in town council sessions if they are headed by the newly-appointed secretary Hryhoriy Pryheba. The information was provided by the political party  press service.

In Mariupol, the Donetsk region, unkown people took away two pictures from "The Life of Petro Guy" which were placed in the city by the cultural platform "Izolyatsia". The information was presented by the press service of the organization.

Reports from the occupied territory

Denis Pushylin, a "DPR" member, claims the the grouping is not against holding the meeting of the "Normandy Four" in occupied Donetsk. He informed journalists about that.

Ilegal "DPR" claims that they will not open a criminal proceeding against Maryna Cherenkova, head of NGO "Responsible Citizens" and will transfer her to the Ukrainian side, according to the information of "DPR" "ministry of the interior" site.

The exchange of prisoners-of-war between Ukraine and the illegal "”LPR" grouping has been planned for Thursday, February 25. The information was presented by Olha Kobtseva, the grouping representative in charge of humanitarial issues and prisoners-of-war exchange.
