During the last day, the enemy shelled Ukrainian positions 73 times, more than the day before. The most serious situation is near Avdiivka, as the ATO Headquarters' press center reported.
Five Ukrainian servicemen were wonded in the ATO zone during the last day; nobody perished. The information was presented by Andriy Lysenko, PA spokesperson on ATO related issues.
Due to the worsening of the situation, the Ukrainian side appeals to the OSCE to conduct “mirror patrolling” of Avdiivka area by the OSCE SMM and the Joint Center, according to the ATO Headquarters' press center. The OSCE representatives, in their turn, inform that they are already conducting such patrolling.
Reports from the territory controlled by Ukraine
The court closed the case against Iryna Kirikova, an activist and a volunteer, without considering it. She was sued by Druzhkivka mayor Valeriy Hnatenko — the official was offended because the woman openly and directly spoke about his separatist activity in 2014.
Slovyansk mayor does not like the composition of the new public council. In particular, Vadym Lyakh does not like the decision of the working group under which heads of micro district self-organization committees and some MM representatives were not included into the public council.
The number of the cases of smuggling in the ATO zone in growing, says Pavlo Zhebrivsky, Chairperson of Donetsk military and civil administration. At the same time, he claims, there is no “centralized smuggling” which would mean that “there is one person in control of all these smuggling streams”.
Unemployment is one of the main problem in Mariupol. The number of the registered unemployed has increased from 2.5 to 5.5 thousand people during the last two years. One of the reasons for that is redundances at big businesses.
News from the occupied territories
The illegal “DPR” faction herded students and “state” workers to the central square of Donetsk forcing them to celebrate “the second anniversary of DPR proclamation”. Those people were trying to leave the square before the official end of the rally, were stopped by “tutors” and made return to the celebtarion venue. There were three thousand people on Lenin square on Donetsk, the presenters claimed there were ten thousand and separatist media resounce “DAN” stated there were thirty thousand.
Stanislav Kim, Horlivka “mayor”, published an order written by Serhiy Taraskin, “the USSR president” on appoining him a “special envoy of the USSR armed forces commander-in-chief on the territory of the Ukrainian soviet republic with the authority to fulfil all functions of law enforcement bodies of the USSR on the territory of the Ukrainian soviet republic until corresponding bodies are formed on the territory of this republic”.
