Main news of Donbas: Militants do not stop shellings; Emergency Centre for IDPs opened in Dymytriv

Militants were shelling Avdiivka, Maryinka, Pisky and Krasnohorivka

The night in the ATO zone was disquiet. ATO Headquarters report that from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. armed separatists fired at Ukrainian positons 13 times.

Experts examined the infrastructure objects damaged in Svatove explosions

A group of experts which includes the State Architecture and Building Inspection representatives examined the infrastructure objects which had been damaged by detonating and exploding ammunition in Svatove (the Luhansk region).  The group examined 19 damaged infrastructure objects of social, health and cultural sphere, which are important for functioning of the town, such as sewage facilities, sewerage systems, water facilities and boiling stations. 

An Emergency Centre for internally displaced persons was opened in Dymytriv

An official Emergency centre for IDPs  was opened in Dymytriv (the Donetsk region). The centre was opened with the help of the Agency for Local Economic Development of Dymytriv and with the support of UNDP in Ukraine and the Government of Japan. Currently there are 1100 IDPs in Dymytriv.

Corrupted civil servants in the Luhansk region got off with a fine 

26 proces-verbals on administrative offences connected with facts of corrution were sent to court in the Luhansk region. For example, the acting head of the town of Rubizhne was chairing the session of the local council himself and voted there for transfering plots of land into his ownership. 

“IRTA” TV channel resumed its broacast on the liberated territory of the Luhansk region 

A Ukrainian TV channel “IRTA” resumed its broadcast in the town of Bilolutsk (the Luhansk region). Resuming work of the TV channel net became possible due to putting into action the fifth transmitter which had been donated by Lithuanian partners.

One more “DPR minister” to be tried in absentia in the Donetsk region

The Prosecutor's Office of the Donetsk region submitted the indictment against a Donetsk resident to court. The woman is accused of collaborating with the illegal armed formations. The pre-trial investigation gathered enough evidence to accuse the woman of agreeing to become the head of a so-called “ministry” in November 2014. She then continued supporting the illegal activity of the militants. Currently the so-called “Ministry of economic development” is headed by Yevheniya Samokhina.

The compensation for damaged residential houses in Slovyansk is 13 thousand UAH

In Slovyansk (the Donetsk region) the families whose houses were damaged as a result of armed hostilities are to get only 13 thousand UAH each. Three draft decisions about allocating welfare aid were prepared by the Administration. Families with many children, single mothers and families of ATO participants got 10 subsistence wages.

Demining residential areas after the explosions of ammunition finished in Svatove

The residential area of Svatove (the Luhansk region) was totally cleared of ammunition after the explosions at depot. It took 3 days to demine Svatove residential area.
