Situation on the front

Militants shelled ATO forces' positions 53 times during the last day, according to the ATO Headquarters' press center. Two militaries were wounded in Maryinka. At least five houses burnt down there because of the shelling. The information was presented on Facebook by Serhiy Kosyak, a volunteer“Hand of Help”, mission leader.

The place for Zolote checkpoint for vehicles , which is envisaged by the Minsk Agreements, was shelled by militants from 120-mm mortars when the working group was examining the place. The shelling started immediately after the visit of the OSCE Mission. The launch of the checkpoint has been suspended.

There is no school in the village of Zaytseve (near Horlivka) controlled by Ukraine. So, pupils' parents have to get hometasks for their children on the territory controlled by “DPR". Children have to go through three checkpoints to get to school.

Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine, signed a decree according to which regional authorities have to take a military regiment or unit under their patronage and help provide it with all the necessary things for its activity and military service.

About 800 complaints of the actions of Russian Fedration have been submitted to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) by Ukrainian citizens.

According to the data of the Ministry of Healthcare 273 people have died of flu-related complications in Ukraine since the beginning of the epidemic season in 2016 (28.09.2015 - 11.02.2016).

News from the occupied territory

1200 people remain in the mines of the Luhansk region after a power blackout. Serhiy Ivanushkyn, who calls himself “head of LPR ministry of emergency situations” reported that “Dolzhanska-Kapitalna”, “Kharkivska” and “Chervonopartyzanska” mines were cut off power at 10.45 on February 10.

Liudmyla Strateychuk who calls herself “head of a court-martial”, reports that “a court-martial” , a subdivision of “DPR supreme court” was established to investigate into the offences committed by the members of illegal armed formations.
