Fireworks were banned in the Donetsk region

Using fireworks was banned in the Donetsk region. The press service of the regional department of the National Police reports that markets, shops and other places where they can be sold are being observed by law enforcers. 600 pirotechnic devices have been discovered and confiscated by the police since the beginning of the month. 

Krasnohorivka resident joined militants but before that he had hid two grenade launchers at home

The Security Service of Ukraine discovered a cache with two RPG-22 grenade launchers in the village of Krasnohorivka (the Donetsk region). The weapons were hid in an empty house whose owner is on the temporarily occupied territory. The press service of the SSU reports that he is a member of the “DPR” illegal armed formation.The case of unlawful possession of weapons is being investigated into by the  law enforcers.

A police officer's corpse was found at a Mariupol market

A corpse of a police officer with a ballistic wound was found in Mariupol on December 31. The police were informed by a taxi driver at 6 a.m. on December 31. The driver reported that one of his passengers had committed suicide. The dead officer was a “Mykolaiv” unit serviceman, ha had arrived in Mariupol to enforce public order.

Registration at Kramatorsk military enlistment office is to begin after the New Year holidays

Registration of citizens who were born during the period from January 1 to December 31, 1999 is to begin in Kramatorsk (the Donetsk region). All the citizens who were born during this period, those who are older but have not been enlisted before are to come to the military enlistment office. Those citizens who have not got draft notices are to come with their IDs to the enlistment office before March 1, 2016. Those who are absent from the enlistment prosedure will be prosecuted according to the Article 2 111 (Code of Ukraine “On administrative violations”).
