More than 400 thousand internally displaced persons need accommodation on the territory of Ukraine which is controlled by the Ukrainian authorities, as the Governor claimed in his interview to Channel 5 on June 28.
“Besides that, more than 25 thousand people are looking for a job today”, added he. As the Governor thinks, people must be given an opportunity to fulfill themselves so that they could have something to live on when they come back home.
Zhebrivsky also thinks that if the border between Ukraine and Russian is closed, the Ukrainian constitutional order will soon be re-established on the occupied part of the Donbas.
“If the help of our international partners can help us stop the aggression, if the state border is blocked, by peacekeepers as well, the constitutional order will spread around the occupied territory very quickly, in about a fortnight”, said the Governor.
In his opinion, separatists on the occupied territory are supported by the minority.
“The ones who claim that some nonreversible processes have taken place there are wrong. Yes, there are 5-10% of people on the occupied territories who cannot tolerate Ukraine, but the rest 85-90% in three months will think that what happened to them was just a nightmare”, thinks Zhebrivsky.
June 28 is the Day of Ukrainian Constitution.

Kramatorsk activists proved in court that public transport fares were illegal. The tariffs were fixed during the “DPR” occupation on May 7, 2014. It was the appellate court that cancelled the tariffs on June 23, 2015.
“On May 7, when the town was occupied, the decision to raise fares to 4 hryvnyas was against the current law of Ukraine. This decision was cancelled neither after the liberation of the town, nor after the activists addressed the authorities. We brought the case to court, which took nearly nine months. Finally, on June 23 the verdict of the Court of Appeal cancelled both the decision about raising the fares and the decision of the court of the first instance, which denied my claim”, said Serhiy Kyrychenko, a Kramatorsk activist. However, according to his words, the carriers are not in a hurry to fulfill the court decision
“Starting with June 23, the day when the court verdict was announced, the fares must be 2.75 hryvnyas for fixed-route taxis and 2 hryvnyas for other kinds of public transport. The carriers did not appear in court and now they claim that they still have not been informed about the decision”, added Kyrychenko.
