The main news of the Donbas: All traffic policemen in the Donetsk region will undergo stiff recertification, “LPR” want to hold their local election too

At night, July 6-7, there was an explosion in Mariupol. The information to “Novosti Donbassa” (“Donbas News”) was presented by Natalya Shyman, Chief of the Special Operations Department of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry Department in the Donetsk region. She said that it was a grenade explosion. Two men with fragment wounds were taken to hospital. According to them, a stranger threw a grenade at them. Investigation team is working at the place of the accident.

The site for getting the ATO zone permits online is working in test mode. Its web-address: urp.ssu.gov.ua.

There was information presented by law-enforcement agencies that the online permit system would have been launched in test mode by July 10. The system will make it possible to register in the database and to get a permit much faster.

Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov has signed an order on the dismissal of all employees of the Department of the State Automobile Inspectorate of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.

“Under the Minister’s order all 625 employees of the State Automobile Inspection Department in the Donetsk region are dismissed and withdrawn from the staff for recertification, starting from July 7”, as he wrote on his Facebook wall on Monday morning.

In his turn, Ihor Pozhydayev, Chief of traffic police in the Donetsk region commented on the Minister’s words. According to him, during the certification, all employees will fulfill their duties in full. “It happened that there are cases of malpractice of traffic policemen in the Donetsk region. They may take bribes, betray the interests of the police, sabotage when they stay in hospital for a long time”, said Pozhydayev. The recertification will take several months.

He also added that the State Automobile Inspection employees will be recertified for militia, not for the police. “When the new patrol service has been launched, those who have undergone recertification successfully will have a chance to be enrolled for the police”.

There was a closed hearing of “Tornado” unit military Oleksiy Symonyk’s case. More than thirty friends and acquaintances came to support him. Special unit “Sokil” militaries are at the court building. The court made the decision to prolong Aleksiy Symonyk’s detention till July 15.

Head of illegal “LPR” formation Ihor Plotnytskiy fixed the date for holding the election of town and district heads on the temporary occupied territory of the Luhansk region. It will be November 1, 2015.
