A drunk man bit a police officer in Artemivsk
On New Year's Eve a man wearing camouflage clothes attacked police officers and bit one of them on the arm in Artemivsk (the Donetsk region). Vyacheslav Abrockin, head of the National Police Department in the Donetsk region called this “the most heinous event” od the New Year's night. The troublemaker was a 30-year-old Khmelnytsky region resident.
Militants opened fire 24 times during the first day of the new year
Militants continued violating ceasefire in the ATO zone and on the first day of the new year they opened fire 24 times. Small arms and heavy machine guns were mostly used. According to the information of the ATO HQ, the Ukrainian Amed Forces did not have to return fire. The stuation is controlled, as the ATO presser informed.
Equipment which militants had used for surveillance was discovered in the Luhansk region
Ukrainian Armed Forces servicemen discovered a transmitting and receiving antenna in a water tower on the school premises in Olkhove (the Luhansk region). The switch and power-generating unit were discovered inside the school. It is possible, that this equipment had been used by the “LPR” militants to obtain information from the electronic devices which belonged to the Ukrainian Army servicemen and locals and to block news resources.
